Haley Nieman Hello Walshies!! My name is Haley and I could not be more excited to serve as Walsh Prez for this year! I'm from Pittsburgh, PA (aka, the greatest city in the world), studying Neuroscience and Behavior on the Pre-Med track with minors in Gender Studies and Sports, Media, & Culture. Outside of Walsh, I am a manager of the Women's Soccer team (#bestteamoncampus) and I am an undergraduate researcher in the Vu lab. When I'm not working, I love supporting Pittsburgh and Notre Dame sports teams and collecting as many free t-shirts as I can. We are so excited to create memories with you all through some "wild" programming. Walsh really is the greatest dorm on campus, and I can't wait to show you all of the reasons why (like, we have a share table, come on). I Walsh Love you all and am so excited to meet you soon! |
VP (Fall):
Grace Loonan Hey hey!! My name is Grace and I can’t WAIT to be serving as your fall VP! I’m a junior from St. Paul, Minnesota studying International Economics and Global Affairs. My second favorite spot on campus (after Walsh ofc:)) is Cafe J, and I love stadium concerts, lake jogs, and ND free travel opps! My favorite parts of Walsh are the programming events, lounge and hallway debriefs with anyone and everyone, and big/little—shoutout fam!! Hannia Macias Holi Walshies! My name is Hannia Macias, and I am super duper excited to be your Spring Semester (flowers 💐and sunshine galore* there might be some gloomy days 🙁) Vice President!!!! I am a Junior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, studying Strategic Management (hey Mendoza girly pops) with Minors in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Italian. When out and about, you can find this Wild Woman shopping for flowers at our local Trader Joe's, watching a performance by NDMariachi, and walking around campus with friends (maybe hear my laugh too *oops). My favorite parts of Walsh are the communal help when a Walshie is going through it, getting to bake for my Walshies🧁, and catching up with Walshies all throughout Walsh Hall. INCLUSIVE Hall Council
A great way to get to know each other and get involved without being overwhelmed is to come to Hall Council meetings every Tuesday night at 10pm, where you can get updated on Walsh and campus events, meet fellow walshies, and eat delicious snacks. All are welcome and Walsh typically has very high attendance! First Years are strongly encouraged to go and anyone who wants to participate or get involved can!
