Hi Walshies! My name is Sam and I’m a Film, Television and Theatre and American Studies double major from Granger, IN. I’m so excited to be back in Walsh as an RA after spending the Spring 2022 semester abroad in Seoul, South Korea. Being involved in Walsh has been one of my favorite parts of my ND experience and I’ve had so much fun on hall council, serving as the Fall Vice President last year. Around campus I’ve also participated in FTT theatre productions, McWell GROW peer educators, and LGBTQ Domers. In my time as an RA, I can’t wait for lake walks, chatting over coffee, and sharing my newfound love for Korean snacks with you all. If you’re looking for a buddy to watch K-Drama, anime, or Wes Anderson movies with, I’m your gal.

Hi WILD WOMEN!! My name is Marliece Barrios, and I'm so excited to get to know all of you and serve as one of your four RAs for the 2022-2023 school year! I have been so blessed to have spent my last three years in Walsh and cannot wait to help make your year just as special as the past three of mine have been :) Throughout my time in Walsh, I've been so lucky to serve this community as a sustainability commissioner (20-21) and as the chair of Diversity and Inclusion (21-22) in Walsh's Hall Council.  I am a Biology and Philosophy double major, so outside of Walsh, you can typically find me in Jordan Hall of Science (being involved in Bio SLC, the Biology mentoring program UPLIFT, or tutoring), at my research lab (where I study the human parasite schistosomiasis), at the Center for Social Concerns (as an avid seminar participant and employee), or wandering around the Philosophy building (forcing someone to talk to me about the meaning of life). Besides falling down the steps of Walsh, my favorite things to do outside of academics are baking, singing *badly*, reading, complaining about minor inconveniences, talking about baseball (Go Dodgers!!),  and spending time with my friends and family. I am so thrilled to spend the next year as one of your RAs!!!

Hey Walshies! As many of you know, I’m from Littleton, CO, and am a Psychology major with minors in Sustainability and Gender Studies. My favorite time spent is outside; I love hiking, skiing, backpacking - pretty much everything. At school, I am a captain for the Women’s Boxing Team (season starts in the fall - I’ll see you there), committed flag footballer, and participant in all things Walsh. As an RA, I promise to keep the weird emails coming :). I am so excited to be serving you all in this new role and am always down for a coffee/matcha/dh sesh! Come ask me about the weirdest food I’ve eaten.

Hey guys! I’m Amy, a biochem major from Granger, Indiana (Michiana’s what dreams are made of). Around Walsh, I’m kind of a NOLO local but you can also find me playing the violin at mass, and over the years I’ve been a part of Soul Sisters and Welcome Weekend. When I’m not in Walsh, I’m usually in my research lab running yet another Western blot or romanticizing my walks around campus acting like I’m in a movie about college. In general, I’m into drawing (mostly doodles but I try), the cringiest TV shows (ex. I was up to date on Riverdale at one point), boba (rip StarGinger), trying new things, and being around Walshies :) My huddle weaknesses (or strengths?) are TruFru, Ben n Jerry’s with a cookie dough core, Dot’s Pretzels, and raw cookie dough (come on a huddle run with me and convince me there is something better I haven’t tried yet). Excited to be there for you guys next year as an RA, WL!
