2022-2023 Walsh Hall Council exec Board:
President: Vivienne Dragun HELLO WALSH! My name is Vivienne Dragun and I am SO PUMPED to be your president this year. I’m a Junior majoring in Biochemistry and Visual Communication Design, and I spend my free time doing Hall Council Stuff, playing spikeball on Bond Quad, and watercoloring very mediocre paintings in my journal. Walsh is the best home under the dome, and I love the Wild Women with what can be described as nothing other than Walsh Love (read: tons of love). I spend most of my time in the library #clubhes, but you can also catch me hanging out in the 6 chick, where I’m living with 5 of my best friends. Feel free to stop by and talk about Walsh, Harry Styles, iconic 2000s rom-coms, Baraka Bouts, or anything else! I am SO SO SO excited for this year! Walsh Love<3 |
VP (Fall): MK Cashman Hello Wild Walshies! My name is MK Cashman and I’m a junior from the Jersey Shore. I’m majoring in Political Science and Peace Studies with minors in Theology and Catholic Social Tradition, and I’m beyond excited to serve as fall VP alongside the wonderful Vivienne and Molly before I go abroad to Chile in the spring!! Around campus, I’m involved with public policy research, the Center for Social Concerns, and working as a lifeguard and CPR instructor for RecSports. My life’s passions include attempting to surf, taking very long naps, eating chocolate covered fruit from the Huddle, and most importantly getting to know other Walshies, so come by room 213 to hang any time! Walsh has truly become my family here at ND and I cannot wait to share all the Walsh love with our newest residents. |
VP (Spring): Molly O'Leary Hi everyone!! My name is Molly O’Leary and I'm the Spring VP of Walsh. I’m double majoring in Psychology and Irish Language & Literature, with a minor in Catholic Social Tradition, and am from Brighton, Michigan. Being in Walsh has been pretty much my favorite part about being a student at ND. The community = unmatched. The location = unmatched. The dedication to snacks = unmatched. Last year in Walsh, I was the Chair of Outreach, and you’ll probably catch me around the dorm baking stuff in the kitchens or lounging in my *luxurious* six-chick with my 5 other roomies (stop by anytime!!). Around ND, I’m the VP of the Gaelic Athletic Association (Irish sports) and love talking to anyone about all things Ireland. I also am involved in a Psych research lab which I think is super interesting!! My other interests involve playing guitar, talking about music, going on lake walks, and playing any sort of sport on Bond Quad. Can’t wait to get to know all the new Walshies!!! |
INCLUSIVE Hall Council
A great way to get to know each other and get involved without being overwhelmed is to come to Hall Council meetings every Tuesday night at 10pm where you can get updated on Walsh and campus events, see peeps, and eat delicious snacks (yes, we have a specific commissioner just for Snacks. We do not joke around about our snacks.) All are welcome and Walsh typically has very high attendance! First Years are strongly encouraged to go! Anyone who wants to participate or lead can! #nocuts

Our 2020-2021 year in review!
Click the picture to view the google slideshow that our 20-21 President, Mags Roccato, shared with peers, staff, and administrators as part of her "Hall of the Year" presentation. Regardless of whether or not we are officially recognized with that title, Walsh's resilience, courage, and adaptability this year has been unmatched. So much Walsh Love!
